Senior Pastors
Twenty-plus years. One calling.
Pastor Steve Peele has been pastoring Living Word Fellowship / SOZO Loveland Church for over twenty years. He and his wife Tara faithfully lead the church together — officiating weddings, serving in SOZO Kids, and leading hospitality.
Pastor Tara serves as co-pastor alongside Steve, leading the church’s hospitality with warmth and intention — the reason a first-time guest so often feels like family by the second visit.
During the week, Pastor Steve also works as a consultant in Chicago. Together they’ve raised four kids — all of whom have served in the church — and share their home with a loyal puppy named Riley.
Their Heart for SOZO
Shepherds, not celebrities.
Pastoral leadership at SOZO Loveland looks like showing up — at weddings and in the kids’ wing, at the door on Sunday morning and in the hard conversations during the week. It looks like teaching the Word plainly, worshipping wholeheartedly, and treating every person who walks in as someone God sent on purpose.
Open. Embrace. Link.
That’s the vision they’ve carried for more than two decades: open hearts, embraced lives, and a church family linked together for the kingdom. It’s not a slogan on a wall — it’s how they pastor.
The Team
Serving alongside them.
Pastors Steve and Tara don’t do this alone. These are the leaders and servants who carry the day-to-day life of the church.

In Their Own Words
Their story, coming soon.
Pastors Steve and Tara are writing this part themselves — how they met, how they were called, and what these twenty-plus years have taught them. Worth the wait.
Your Next Step
Come meet them on a Sunday.
The best introduction isn’t a page — it’s a handshake at the door. Sundays 10AM–12PM.
